The Impact So Far
Our work in Yateras has led to the renovation of key healthcare facilities, including a 20-bed hospital in Palenque and smaller clinics across the region. We’ve provided much-needed resources to improve maternal care, refurbishing centers for high-risk pregnancies and ensuring expectant mothers have access to safe, well-equipped environments. The provincial hospital in Guantánamo, which serves the entire province, has also benefitted from our support, allowing it to better care for at-risk newborns and complex cases.
How We've Helped
Through close collaboration with local health officials, we’ve identified the most urgent needs and have acted decisively. From supplying medical equipment donated by Boulder Community Hospital to facilitating large-scale shipments of supplies in partnership with Denver’s Project C.U.R.E., our impact is felt in every corner of the province. In 2004, our efforts culminated in the delivery of essential hospital equipment, while more recent initiatives have seen the shipment of three 40-foot containers filled with critical medical supplies, thanks to our dedicated fundraising and partnerships
